J&S Chemical has two types of start-up paste, graphite and non-graphite formulas. Both are applied with a brush during initial start-up, before each shot, until the cold die has reached normal operating temperature.
They are formulated with lubricity, extreme pressure, and anti-wear additives to heavy-duty die service at start-up. Extra tackifiers help provide excellent adhesive and cohesive properties as well as exceptional wetting-out characteristics. Our start-up paste provides excellent release of ejector pins, cores, and fins.
These outstanding release features will not build-up or leave a staining residue when transitioning into production. These products help to protect your expensive die of soldering and build-up of cold shots, thus saving thousands of dollars.
